Trent Hill Center is searching fora Maintenance Assistant to work across our four locations.
The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Director with the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the organization’s facilities, vehicles, and other equipment by planning and coordinating and/or executing all maintenance activities to ensure facilities are kept up to code and safe for program residents and participants. This position is also responsible for assisting with landscaping functions for Trent Hill Center properties. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
· Maintaining in-depth knowledge of regulations for licensure related to maintenance and ensuring compliance with those requirements.
· Assisting the Maintenance Director with annual inspections with various outside entities
· Performing monthly facility inspections
· Landscaping for four properties
· Responding to maintenance issues quickly and addressing appropriately
· Adhering to approved budget when sourcing for supplies or services for repair or maintenance
· Assisting the Maintenance Director with the registration and maintenance of company vehicles
· Conducting required fire and emergency weather drills for all properties
· Ensuring cleanliness of all properties
· Training new employees on basic facility maintenance
· Working closely with volunteer teams on facility improvements and projects.
The Maintenance Coordinator position reports to the Maintenance Director of the organization.
