Residential Care

Caring for Our Community's Most Vulnerable

The Bell House, located at 522 W. Bobo Newsom Highway in Hartsville, South Carolina, is the Center’s original residential care facility. Since having opened in 2018, the Bell House has served more than 100 youth, primarily ages 13-18, who have been removed from their homes due to instances of domestic abuse, neglect, abandonment, or homelessness.

Trent Hill Center aims to keep our residents close to their homes, families, schools, churches and communities by giving housing priority to local youth from Darlington County, the greater Pee Dee, and the Midlands. However, for a variety of reasons, we frequently accept residents from across the state. We welcome youth from all walks of life and do not discriminate against sexual orientation, gender expression, race, religious preference, political beliefs, or disabilities.
