In May 2022, Trent Hill Center added a fourth program to our catalog: Family-Centered Community Support Services (FCCSS). FCCSS provides in-home prevention and support services to families who have exhibited conditions that affect stability and well-being–such as poverty, youth parental age, relational issues, or parental or child disabilities–all of which increase the risk of neglect and abuse within the family unit. These proactive and preventive services are implemented through a sub-contracted agreement with JusticeWorks Behavioral Care, an organization that was awarded a statewide contract from South Carolina Department of Social Services. Through this contract, THC's Family Resource Specialists provide hands-on resources and guidance through an array of services including:
Homemaker services
Career exploration & assessment
Non-medical transportation services
Tutoring
Parenting services
