How would you like to volunteer? Check all areas of interest Become a Bed, Holiday, or Birthday Sponsor Are you willing to be contacted to provide special welcome gifts to children or youth newly placed at the Center? Or, would you be willing to make a child’s holiday or birthday extra special? If so, please consider volunteering. Share your talent or expertise with the Center Are you an artist, dancer, actor, musician, yoga instructor, gardener, fisherman, handyman, healthcare professional, therapist (pet/music/art/mental health), or someone with any other type of talent or expertise? We’d love for you to share it with children and families at the Center! Help with gardening/planting We’d love to have a garden at the Center! It would be a great opportunity for children to learn how to garden and the value of hard work. If you have a green thumb, please consider volunteering. Mentor a child or family member Would you like to mentor a child in residence at the Trent Hill Center? Or, might you be interested in mentoring a family member who is working hard to reunify with his or her child? If so, please consider volunteering. Provide pastoral or spiritual care to children and families We are looking for people who are willing to lead Bible studies, prayer groups, or other faith-based services for children and families who would like to participate. Organize a supply drive to collect items on our wish list Our website includes a list of the items we need at any given time. Would you consider organizing a drive at your church, workplace, civic group, circle, or other group to collect items on our wish list? Host one of our speakers at your meeting, event, or organization We love to get the word out about the Trent Hill Center and appreciate invitations to speak about what we are doing and why we are doing it! Prepare a meal for residents It’s so helpful to us when folks come in to cook for our residents! We do have specific nutritional requirements for our residents, but our Executive Director can work directly with you to provide guidance on those requirements.
